OPA is the Organization of Permaculture and Art, based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil.
OPA believes in the infusion of art and permaculture as means of creating skills and solutions towards a sustainable future, empowering people and their communities. OPA is a non-profit organization based in the city of Salvador, capital of Bahia, in the northeastern coast of Brazil.
OPA's directors are Isabela Coelho, an educator and performing artist, and Yarrow Schley a permaculture designer and licensed massage therapist.
Ongoing projects include Circo Água Viva, a circus for children, Veggie Oil Conversion to use vegetable oil to fuel automobiles, and EcoSurfistas: an educational project that combines Surf and Permaculture with underprivileged youth in Bahia.
